Denim Day in LA Action Kit
This year Denim Day in LA takes place on Wednesday April 23, 2008. Rather than organize a rally at the Staples Center downtown, we are sending Denim Day Action Kits to schools, city halls and offices for everyone to organize their own Denim Day. The Action Kit is a kit of parts, where you receive materials to spread the message to your campus or workplace, and become an empowered advocate for justice. Last year 300,000 people signed up to our cause, this year we aim to double that amount. In addition, we dream and are undertaking every effort to succeed in getting every single person who signs up to donate at least a dollar, so we can continue addressing, healing and preventing sexual violence.
